FORMULA DRIFT PROSPEC SCHEDULE (NATIONAL)

Schedule & Results: Four Rounds Across America

Round 1: Road Atlanta — May 7 to 9

Road Atlanta marked Braden’s rookie Formula Drift ProSpec debut and a strong start to the 2026 season. After advancing to 1st on Thursday’s Top 16 Seeding Bracket, the team entered Friday’s Top 32 competition with confidence and momentum. Braden won his first official ProSpec battle and advanced into the evening’s Top 16 Opening Ceremony under the lights at Road Atlanta. Unfortunately, during the Top 16 battle, a clutch failure ended the weekend early. Despite the mechanical setback, the event proved the team’s pace, composure, and ability to compete with some of the top drivers in Formula Drift ProSpec.

Round 2: Stafford Speedway — June 18 to 20

Stafford Speedway marked a milestone weekend for Braden and the No Sympathy team. After a strong debut at Road Atlanta, Braden entered the weekend high enough in the standings to bypass Thursday's Seeding Bracket and advance directly into Friday's Top 32 competition. He earned a victory in Top32 to advance to the Top 16. As he pulled into the burnout box for his Top 16 battle with 1 place standing holder, he suffered a shoulder redislocation just moments before the run. After successfully putting his shoulder back into place, Braden completed the battle and continued an incredible run through the bracket all the way to the Championship Final. He finished the weekend with an impressive 2nd Place finish, earning his first Formula Drift ProSpec podium and proving that the No Sympathy team has the determination, speed, and consistency to compete at the front of the field. Ending the weekend in 3rd place standing overall.

Round 3: Indianapolis Raceway Park — July 30 to August 1

Indianapolis Raceway Park showcased the continued progress of Braden and the No Sympathy team. Throughout practice, qualifying, and competition, the car was performing at a high level, allowing Braden to confidently execute his runs and carry strong momentum into Top 32. Braden's lead run was shaping up to be one of the strongest runs of the weekend until the passenger-side axel failed while he was on throttle climbing the the bank toward zone 6, immediately straightning up the car and igniting the tire and ending the battle. While the result was disappointing, the mechanical failure did not reflect the pace the team had shown all weekend. The event also marked the debut of the new Hard Tuned merchandise, and the team enjoyed another great weekend connecting with fans and partners. Indianapolis reinforced that the No Sympathy program has the speed, preparation, and consistency to compete at the front of the Formula Drift ProSpec field. Leaving the weekend, Braden sits 6th in the championship standings with the team's focus now set on Las Vegas.

Round 4: Las Vegas Motor Speedway — September 24 to 26

SIX LAPS TO FIGURE IT OUT

There are weekends when a driver has time to find the limit.

Las Vegas wasn't one of them.

Braden Lons arrived at the final round of his rookie Formula Drift ProSpec season sitting 6th in the championship. A season podium was still mathematically possible, but the path was razor thin.

For Braden to have a real shot at climbing from 6th into the top three, a good finish wasn't going to be enough. He needed to win Las Vegas, and even then, the championship results around him had to fall the right way.

In other words, Braden could take care of only one part of the equation.

Win.

First, he had to learn the track.

Braden had never driven the Las Vegas layout. Under the new Formula Drift assigned practice rotation, his position toward the back of the line meant that while drivers positioned earlier in the rotation could cycle through for a third run when time allowed, Braden never got that opportunity.

Three practice sessions.

Two runs in each.

Six laps.

That was all he had.

Twice, the crew changed tires, got the car ready and sent Braden back into line for another run. Both times, he worked his way almost back to the front only for the session to end before he could return to the course.

Those weren't simply lost laps.

Every additional lap is another opportunity to adjust an entry, try a different line, understand where the car needs to be, make a setup change and find the confidence to attack the course at competition pace.

Braden didn't have them.

By the end of his sixth and final practice lap, he still hadn't put together the complete run he was looking for.

And practice was over.

The next time he left the start line, there would be another car beside him and the run would count.

There was no extra lap to figure it out. No chance to go back out and try one more thing. And there certainly wasn't an easy road waiting for him through the bracket.

Braden would have to figure it out in competition.

And he did.

From the opening battle, the pressure was immediate. Braden wasn't being handed a comfortable path into the later rounds. He had to perform from the moment competition began, against drivers fully capable of ending his season with one battle.

But something happened as the battles began.

The driver who still hadn't found the complete lap he wanted during practice started finding it when the runs actually counted.

One battle became another.

Then another.

And with every win, the championship picture began to change.

Braden wasn't simply fighting for his first Formula Drift victory anymore. Every battle was pulling him closer to something that had looked like a long shot when he arrived in Las Vegas: a podium in the season championship.

There was almost no margin left for error.

So he kept advancing.

Top 32.

Top 16.

Top 8.

Final Four.

And then the Final.

By that point, the 16 year old rookie who had been given only six practice laps to learn the course was one battle away from winning the final Formula Drift ProSpec event of the season.

He finished it.

Braden Lons won Las Vegas.

The victory completed an incredible swing in the championship. Braden had entered the weekend 6th in points with a narrow path to the season podium.

He left Las Vegas 3rd in the 2026 Formula Drift ProSpec Championship and earned his Formula Drift PRO license for 2027.

But the result sheet only tells part of the story.

It doesn't show the six practice laps.

It doesn't show the two times the crew changed tires, got him back into line and watched the clock expire before he could get another run.

It doesn't show a rookie driver finishing practice without the solid lap he was looking for and knowing the next time he crossed the start line, there would be no more practice.

And it doesn't show just how much had to happen for 6th in the championship to become 3rd in a single weekend.

That is what made Las Vegas different.

Braden didn't arrive with everything figured out.

He figured it out when it counted.

Six practice laps.

A Formula Drift victory.

From 6th to 3rd in the championship.

A Formula Drift PRO license.

Regional Out of State Competition & Development

In addition to in state competition and Formula Drift ProSpec rounds, Braden selectively participates in regional out of state events that support continued development, expanded reach, and meaningful sponsor exposure.

These events reflect past participation and preferred programs that align with our driving style, logistics, and competitive goals. Regional events are selected throughout the season based on schedule availability, preparation, and opportunity rather than a fixed calendar.

Consistent Seat Time. Local Visibility. Community Connection.

Our program maintains year round seat time through regular participation in Oklahoma based motorsports events. These in state events allow us to stay competition ready while building meaningful connections with fans, local businesses, and the regional motorsports community.

Beyond competition, these events provide opportunities for direct fan engagement through car displays, booth setups, and community focused activations. During select fun day events, we also offer ride alongs where permitted, creating memorable, hands on experiences that strengthen brand connection and loyalty.
